swirls of deep colors with a big eye and the words Not Your Dream in the center under the eye

Dreams are more than just nightly mental movies—they're a critical component of our overall health and well-being. There is a hidden power of dreams, but you have to be aware of it. Far from being random brain activity, dreams play a crucial role in our physical, mental, and emotional restoration. For about the first half of this year I just wasn't remembering any of my dreams. They started coming back to me when I started eating healthy again. A friend recently told me, "Healthy body, healthy mind". He's right too!

After I started cooking and taking walks more often, I started dreaming and remembering those dreams. I started journaling my dreams again. I haven't done that in years. Lately or at least this past week I have noticed a bit more of a consistent storyline in the dreams. The story is based around me chasing medication to treat my anxiety lol last night i had some odd-looking little box device that i could attach to my phone and just pop out all the little benzos i wanted. I remembered feeling the anxiety in my dream it was terrible and i kept making the little pills. Probably not a great indicator of great health or mental health, but that's what I mean by dreams can reveal to us where we are mentally and physically. I have been dealing with an abnormal amount of Anxiety lately.

I started my morning by reading other people's blog posts and ran across a neat page talking about Lucid Dreaming. The author has some good stories that were enjoyable to read. This is the link to her page if you would like to read some for yourself. Hopefully I can start adding other people's dreams into these blog posts. Have a wonderful day to everyone!
